At some point, all machinery needs repair for one reason or another. American Scale's Service Department provides integrated calibration and repair services tailored to your individual needs. Our service team is a knowledgeable and professional staff of state-certified, highly-skilled technicians trained in all areas of installation, calibration, diagnostics and repair. all service is provided according to our Quality Management System and our test weights are traceable to the national Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST).

You can count on American Scale to keep your production and equipment running smoothly and efficiently. Whether on-site or in our lab, our experienced team of technicians provides the calibration and repair services that match your workload, timetable and budget needs. This, in conjunction with our 24/7 service and several servicing locations, means that you can be assured that your needs will be met as effectively and efficiently as possible.

Repairs - You can deal with a single source for all your scale repairs.	Response - We respond to your calls 24 hours a day / 7 days a week.
Brands - We can repair and calibrate most major brands of scales.	Parts - We offer new and reconditioned parts for all scales we service.
Calibration - All equipment is tested and calibrated with test weights that are NIST traceable.	Training - All of our technicians are factory-trained or in our ongoing in-house training program.
Documentation - All scales will have a calibration label with the date, technician, and next due date. Calibration certificates are provided on all calibrations.	Rentals - Rental scales are available for your temporary needs. Free loaners are available for scales that are under warranty and cannot be repaired on-site.

Preventive Maintenance

Scale service and calibration is a significant part of our business. We pride ourselves on delivering quality service to our customers. Preventive maintenance and calibration service agreements are one way we fulfill this goal. Service agreements provide the necessary inspections and calibrations needed to keep your scales within required tolerances.

Preventive maintenance customers receive additional benefits including: 24-hour emergency service, contractual service rates, savings on new equipment, calibration certificates stored electronically for five years, calibrations performed by local technicians (no outside contractors are used).
