Old mechanical truck scale to
be replaced with the new Avery Weigh-Tronix IMXT 70' x 10' Fully
Electronic Steel Deck Truck Scale. |
The simple, pier type concrete foundation
is formed and poured parallel to the old scale location. |

The truck arrives with the new
scale and the first section is unloaded. The scale section
is completely self-contained, with all weighing components
in place. |
The first scale section is set in place on
top of the weigh bar stands. The section is easily
maneuvered and set down with the crane. |

The first section is aligned
onto the weigh bar stands and the connecting links are put
into place. |
The second scale section is unloaded and
maneuvered into position. |

The second section drops into
position and connects with the first section. |
The third and final section is installed
and connected into place. |

Final adjustments are made to
the third section to align it with the other two sections. |
The complete scale is now in position and
is ready to be anchored into place and calibrated. |

The Truck Scale Calibration
Test Unit is pulled into position at the end of the scale. |
The 25,000 lb. certified weight cart is
unloaded from the truck and the test weights are loaded into
the cart. |

The motor driven test cart is positioned
over each section of the scale and the scale is calibrated
to the test weights |

To complete the test, the fully loaded test
unit is positioned on the scale and the weight is checked.
The installation and calibration of the scale is now
complete and the scale is ready to use. |
